We grew up in Sweden, longing every day for the weekend when we got our allowance and went to the store to buy "Lördagsgodis" (Saturday candy). My brother saved half his allowance and spent the rest on candy. I consistently spent 100% of mine on candy, and did not save "ett öre" (a dime). Back then, owning a candy company would have seemed like an impossible Willy Wonka style dream, which is why we are so excited to now bring the joy of Swedish candy to people everywhere.
